Cary,

I have watched you on this board and respect your opinion. Here is a dilemma I am in. I bought 10 contracts of UPJAH (Jan 98 AMAT leaps) in june/July 1996 timeframe at about $8/shr. With split they have become 20 contracts of ANQAD (expirying in a month.) These had touched ($40/SHr) or five times my original investment when AMAT touched its high of $108. Unfortunately, I did not sell them. Now they are back to $6-7/shr. So I still have 50% gain for 1.5 years. I have two options to hold them and exercise them at expiration to convert to AMAT stocks or to sell them now to protect whatever gain I have.

Any suggestions on what would be your strategy in this situation would be appreciated.
