I believe we still have an armored division staged in Kuwait as a "rapid reaction force." Not that Obama will use it.

It's apparent that part of the problem is that Maliki has overplayed his hand with the Sunnis, lording it over them, and now it has come home to roost. The Sunni army has melted away. Perhaps he has a few Shiite divisions or the Interior Ministry to launch a counterattack.
