Cantor will not run as an independent. He is a team player. Not like the chameleon Crist in Florida. Cantor spent 5Million. The Professor spent 150K. It was Cantors support for amnesty for illegals that was his downfall. Pure and simple. Most Americans want our laws inforced and immigrants welcomed but legally through the system. It is a shame that many of the politicians put politics before the law and our best interest.
