I just disagree with you about it. Iraq was not ready to be abandoned and should not have been. But when Bush left office the situation was relatively stable compared with earlier. I have pretty much total recall of that time frame since my son was there at the time. When he first arrived in Iraq it was a far more dangerous place than it was by the time he left in April, 2009.
