Today's Statists also like the notion of "science" in human affairs -- Like, for example, it justifies being "smarter" than common sense and any traditional ethical notions. The Bible says "Thou shalt not steal" -- but politicians say - look, this Nobel winner scientific expert of mine says that, scientifically, it's OK to borrow and spend 20 trillion dollars, even though we all know we could never pay them back. And, Presto!... we have us a nice economic recovery, which works especially beautifully for those among us who are already rich. We all know what it means when someone borrows with no intention of paying back in equal value. But 96% consensus of politicians and professors of economics insist that it ain't what it looks like.
