There are other people here. Many lurk, like they do on a lot of threads, but Apple Fanboy Central has only 28 SubjectMarks. The main Apple Inc. thread, by comparison, has 888 as of this writing.
Even if most of those are inactive accounts, that's a lot more eyeballs over there, and thus, a lot more activity.
Same is true for the Apple, Inc. Unmoderated thread, it has only 77 SubjectMarks, but it's also approaching open sewer status, because it is unmoderated. One I gleefully participate in sometimes, I might add.
This thread, by its very nature, does not have an open debate free-for-all. That is not its purpose. Most people have no interest in a "feel good about Apple" thread, they want robust, moderated discussion. That's what Clean86 is trying to offer at Apple Inc.
He has a very tough job and he's doing the best he can. I couldn't be paid enough to moderate that forum. |
