method, if you are going to portend to do research on a co you should at least look to see if the "earnings" you are using include one time charges due to an acquisition. punching up a quote on yahoo and assuming the pe and earnings #'s are correct isn't doing the trick. acq. charges/ one time gains are always backed out as they distort the real performance of the company. nn is not trading @ a p/e of 50. all imco....nick
