It is too early to know whether ER visits will be less or more. Many of the newly insured are without a primary care provider.
Many of the newly insured will go to ER because they think they are insured. Then they'll find out they have to pay out of pocket for the ER and then they will think "why am I paying for this stupid Obamacare?" And they will drop it.
