They want to redraw the map... Yes, they wanted to get their Islamist empire for a very long time. That's what Sayyid Qutb was calling for, back in the 1940-50's. Looks like they are, after all, moving closer towards that goal.

Thought it's time to revisit the old Clash of civilizations essay... Found it and posted it... It's a longish read.
