I am 16 stories up overlooking the ocean in Hawaii Kai. No heating or air. A fan sometimes in the summer when the trades stop or reverse. With these gas prices, nightly round trip to China town to dance costs me about $5 for gas. I am drinking water in the clubs so no booze bills.

I look at what our Left here is doing to our "locals" who vote 95% for them, and shake my head. They are the ones that the 45 cent gas tax really hurt. The ones who pay the 12% consumption tax on what they buy. The ones that pay double most mainland state prices for license plate renewals. The ones who have the worst schools with the lousiest teachers. The list of how the Dems screw them goes on and on. But they get suckered with the "hate the Haole and vote for us" message from the Dems.
