I am reading "Marching with Caesar" and the thing that sticks out in all the battles is when the back rank took a step back. That would always start the run and the slaughter.

We are watching that right now in Baghdad. What will we do if the rush to run explodes and Baghdad falls to the Jihadists?

Worldwide, the Sunnis are delighted. Can Iran get troops in to stop the disaster for the Iraqi Shias? We won't do it.
