It is what it is: A bitter, arrogant, bag who has been in DC far too long, and believes she is one of the elite.

It is symbolic, to me, of the problem with Washington DC. These people think they're better than the rest of us -- Obama does it, Pelosi and Reid do it, and some Republicans do, too.

I do think Boxer's comment was particularly embarrassing, as it was a sort of extreme condescension -- when she doesn't even know the proper protocol then condemns someone else for following it. And he dutifully did as she requested and called her senator.

IMO, she doesn't deserve a title. It is insane to me that Californians reelected her after that. Just as insane as your defense of it.
