I don't begin to understand the politics of Israel, but I do think they will protect themselves and they're fully capable of doing so. With recent political events in Israel, I'm not sure what the internal dynamics would be, but I do think they can be counted on to deal with Iran.

I don't care what happens in ME at this point. They can kill each other from now on and it won't bother me a bit. We gave them an opportunity and if they can't make it work it is on them.

It is a shame that when the fruits of the Freedom Agenda finally took root we didn't have a president who was strong enough to deal with it. But that's how it is and there is nothing to do about it now. Those opportunities were lost. History will deal with those failures. The American people were tired of the wars and I don't think any of us can be blamed for that.

At this point -- from where we are now -- I would like to see every American come home from Afg. and elsewhere but create a strong sense of resolve to deal with terrorism differently, by protecting ourselves internally and killing them when we find them. And not apologizing to ANYONE for it. If some civilians get killed in Yemen, tough shit. And to hell with the UN. That cannot be done with Obama as president but he'll be out of the picture in a couple of years.
