The problem was never the removal of Saddam. It was the indifference of a president to seeing it through to its logical conclusion. That, and no other reason, is why Iraq is a mess at this instant. I don't blame anyone for having been against the war, including Obama. But when he took office he had a responsibility to make the best of whatever it was and he arrogantly refused to do so when it was clear it would be problematic.
