I have a difficult time getting the past the idea that some people think a dictatorship in which thousands of the nation's people are murdered monthly by its dictator is one where you want to maintain the status quo.

The problem was never the removal of Saddam. It was the indifference of a president to seeing it through to its logical conclusion. That, and no other reason, is why Iraq is a mess at this instant.

I don't blame anyone for having been against the war, including Obama. But when he took office he had a responsibility to make the best of whatever it was and he arrogantly refused to do so when it was clear it would be problematic.
