Yeah "numb" is a pretty good description. It's not a feel good movie. At times I couldn't tell if the Coen brothers were truly telling a story or making a parody of film noir movies. Either way it kept my attention the way movies that are slowly unfolding trainwrecks like Fargo do.

Last night I watched Enough Said, sadly the last movie made by James Gandolfini. As I read in a review, it's the story of how given time we poison the relationships we want.

It's a small movie and I enjoyed it because it was very realistic. There wasn't one single cartoon character in it that usually inhabit these kinds of movies. Every character was believable.

Both Gandolfini and Julia Louis-Dreyfus seemed to be acting so easily. It was a good role for "Elaine" because it gave her plenty of opportunities to screw-up her face with both subtle and contorted expressions as only she can.

Like Seinfeld, some of the best banter and laughs were generated by friends sitting at a table talking, skewering, and cross examining each other.

As the movie closed they played this refreshingly pleasant song. I never heard of this guy but I liked the song.
