Did you read how bad these guys were? You wouldn't find that in the public sector.

Residents say their water is often cloudy, with chunks floating in it, and their bills are more than double what residents on county water pay.

Its unlikely it would ever get to that point if it was a government operation.

But, I know, you just can't accept that government is better than the private sector at anything. You say you can, but then argue with every example. Water is a good example. It's a proper government function because of logistics, and because government is held to a higher standard, under higher scrutiny.
