Bry and thread, I'm leaving the drillers thread because I've been accused of misleading people. This is what Bry said of me: "Thean and GD, Oh I didn't buy Tech but sold short all the drillers/oil when you two guys were bullish a few days ago....As I have said on several occasions on this tread...always do the opposite of the market. Thean you are a very good indicator of where the mkt is heading. Dec 2nd this tread was filled with negative emotion and I told everyone, especially Thean that this is the time to buy..but his "charts" told him differently...Then 5-6 days after the thread became bullish once more...I am bot saying whether Thean led the charge...but I do recall a few scarcastic comments when I cautioned everyone that these stocks recovered too fast and too much..." Personally I think his comment above contains remarks that are designed for personal vengience. I think I hit his nerve for saying he sold his drillers too early and underestimated the duration of their rebound 2-3 days after their recent lows. You all can decide how true his comments were since many of you read my posts. One big reason I liked this thread a lot is because ego trippers were not here. People like LT, GD, Mike Simmons, and all other "brotherhood of losers" are great people who share freely and humorously which make this thread a fun place to be. Right or wrong, we don't make it a point to cite old references and nail people to expose their inaccuracy or inept. But how have things changed... We had great knowledgeable contributers like Aggies, Jim and Bulldog(?) in the past who were here contributing but gone for "personal" reasons. I now join their ranks. When one has to answer charges rather than contributing ideas and viewpoints, the fun is gone. I may drop in to say hello once in a while but don't look for me to talk about the drillers because there are people out there who want to find faults on what I have to say and themselves want to be heard louder.
