I will confess why I started it and didn't finish it. It was pure ignorance on my part. He was talking about aliens fighting for gold. At the time I thought future aliens could make gold; I had no idea at the time it took a quasar with enough energy to create heavy metals. I have done the same stupid thing many times. Another was when I was following the knowledge on evolution. I was a big leaky fan and would not read Donald Johanson's new book Lucy thinking it was pap. Finally I read it and decided he was right and Leaky was wrong. Live and learn I guess, is the lesson.
