Brendan, I've been long ORCL for about 6 years and I too see no reason to sell. I've never heard rumors before a split but you're right, they do tend to go for a 3:2 split when the stock price reaches $50. Q1 results are usually 'bad' for Oracle, an increase in price to $50 would depend on Q2 results and market conditions. I can't really add anything to what you've already said other than that I agree.
