Bush was just the inevitable collapse of Raygunism; he was the guy left holding the bag, but he accelerated collapse with a badly prosecuted war, followed by the dumbest war ever, while cutting taxes to finance them. Raygun does deserve some credit for things he did in Calif, but not in DC.... Gun control, clean air regs stricter than the rest of the country, the first coastal zone management agency in the world.
