I totally agree that it is not an issue with NAN as far as what they have and where they are going but it always sad to see someone go who has put in a very diligent effort over the past few years and always had time to promote NAN a little along the way. Richard always struck me as a very intelligent man who knew exactly where NAN was and where they wanted to take it. A lot of the time the CEO of a company seems removed from what is actually playing out under his nose. Richard Mark always seemed to have his finger on the pulse.
I think there is a possibility that with the general direction of the company now moving to the development of a proven resource and with the addition of a couple more geologist to the team , that Richard found his contribution to that mix less valuable then it was when he was getting the entire project up and running. It would be pretty hard for a non geologist to have much influence on the decisions being made by a group of four or five geologists including a couple considered experts in the field of VMS deposits.
Or it could be as simple as his wife dropping the "spend more time with me and the kids or we are gone"bomb. Not many men survive that one. We will probably never really know why he is gone but he is. The drills will start turning in a couple days and despite little share price hiccup today in a few days we will have forgotten all about todays news. Drill Baby Drill!!!
