yes, taht would have been upsetting. and i then, also, would have
felt it my duty or something to go search for the rest of it

as for the dare. think probably not. took a dare like taht once.
and once is quite enough, thank ya. tho with norton, if he let drop
with a particular word of wisdom, i might not be able to resist a
peck on the cheek. make taht a brushing peck.

my first trip to a pool hall in a nearby town... went with a couple
of teenaged boys i was friends with. i knew right off (no surprise)
that i would have to watch my back all night. drew rather a lot
of hostile attention. so i moseyed on over to a pin ball
machine, one where i could keep my back covered. and played and
watched the room. one of my boys came over (he was cute but not
real bright) and told me that one of the guys (a big shot in the place)
didn't believe i was a woman. so bobby had worked out a
bet with him. $500 bucks. all i had to do was flash, ya know,
my upper body and the money was mine. with a $100 to bobby for
making the deal. i said, thanks sweetie but i'm not in the mood
tonight. so then the guy decided the next best thing was take me outside and
whoop me. bobby (being smart now) told him i had a third
degree black belt in aikido and he'd best not mess me. and that
was taht. all in all a swell night on the town. did manage to
win a free game or two.

i love my town...
