But a look at market reactions to FOMC meetings over the past two years is clear about one thing – FOMC meetings with press conferences have consistently generated large moves, and much larger price changes than meetings without press conferences.... This says it all IMO. That a small select group can have such relevance to what, generally used to be, somewhat freer markets. Now these manipulated markers hang on every word that comes out of the mouths of CB's that frankly don't have a clue and are desperately grasping at straws. Their record since 2008 especially speaks for itself. And this continued BS about improving economic data is just that...utter and patent BS.
