Wrong... Friedman bought into the WH lies of WMD, short war, no cost, welcome as liberators, Judith Miller stuff but he did actually on his own with his regional experience actually think the American military at the point of a gun could change the place. He knows and admits how wrong he was as do others who made the same mistakes. And who is back in the media spotlight again with their "wisdom" ....those clowns who always said their were right...Bill Crystal, Paul W, Cheney, Sen Graham, and then their is McCain who just does not know when to shut his mouth. Bush at least knows now to shut up. I happen to also find it interesting that McCain who is so pro Veterans had the Phoenix VA issues going on in his state and he did not know anything about them but he thought a lot of others should have. What an incredible blow hard the man is.
