i monitor the baltic dry index chart with my weekly chart. the bdi broke down from a double top in december 2013 with the first top from october 2011. i never understood or believed the up move the bdi did in 2013 anyway. some of the bulk shippers, etc., did well for a time, but i was not onboard. however i have not been onboard for the downside either. check my 5 year weekly chart. stockcharts.com
