iso, I have been following the velocity chart for a long time hoping it would turn up but it has absolutely refused so far. This means that the FED's "QE" etc. have had limited effect. If money supply = reserves times velocity and V keeps dropping, it would seem to show the FED is just spinning its wheels. (but God help us if they weren't!) Anyhow whatever is happening is good for stock speculators, until it isn't.
