Personally, I don't give a crap about the business of arena sports. I would like to see Synder change the name simply because a race of people have taken a position that the term Redskin is offensive, but I consider it his decision. Maybe it wasn't always the case but labels take on new connotations over time. At one time idiot and moron were simply clinical categorizations to indicate levels of intelligence, then because of mis-use mental retardation replaced them as a much nicer term, then the mis-use of that term forced a movement to something without negative connotations, at least for the time being.

However, the government was not complicit in taking anyone's property in the case of those disability labels. The US patent office has joined the ranks of organizations corrupted under this administration.
