I have stopped using the slow cooker in favor of my (relatively new) digital pressure cooker.... I cooked 3 lbs of snow crabs last night for 2 minutes and they were perfect. And I have done a 2 lb piece of beef - low quality with stock, carrots etc and it came out wonderful.
