One of my daughters rebuked me on Father's Day for trying to explain what was happening in Iraq and how things could get much worse. She had a good point when she told me, I spend too much time worrying about stuff in the world instead of enjoying the time we had together. Then she asked if I thought she needed to arm herself because a caliphate group was going to attack her house. I said, "of course not." She doesn't live in a neighborhood where any kind of armed attack is a realistic risk. I asked her to just please pay attention to how things are changing. Then I mentioned food storage, which she figured was over the edge.
