Thanks to America’s Amazing Shale Revolution, the price of natural gas in the US is between 50-75% lower than prices in Europe, Asia and South America (see chart above, source here). This is giving American manufacturers a significant energy cost advantage over their foreign competitors and helping to fuel a domestic petrochemical manufacturing boom.
