Paul,

In trying to gauge relative market awareness of y2k and y2k company stocks,I still find it interesting to note that generally more shares are traded daily in stocks such as Intel or Microsoft than in practically the whole y2k sector in general. Believe me, the street has not even begun to believe in y2k yet. When they do volume in the sector will escalate far beyond anything at present. Y2k is like death and taxes-out of sight, out of mind and don't remind anyone of the reality. Even if they accepted the reality, most will prefer to think of more pleasant things and leave this dilemma to the ones who are purported to understand it. It is only when real life situations become adverse enough to indicate a lack of ability of the experts to cope that this will become a reality to most. At that time it will become a game of political handball. A lot of politicians may make or break their careers in this court.

Regards,

Gerry
