I just think there were too many variables in Iraq that weren't considered. I think it was too unpredictable from the getgo.

Did they seriously consider what would happen when Saddam was gone?

Did they actually think that the Shia could take over without demanding retribution on the Sunnis?

We're getting the SAME deal in Egypt. Should we take Sisi out? What if he builds some nukes? Should we take him out then? If we did take him out what would happen afterwards?

We have the same deal in Pakistan. What should we do there?

In the meantime we've got China building a military that may make the Russians look puny. How do we deal with that?

Science is wonderful and perfect and precise but HUMANS control science and humans are relatively new to the planet and certainly not ALL wonderful, perfect and precise.

Humans are SO lucky just to exist on this tiny little sphere way out in the boondocks of this one small galaxy yet we seem to be intent on our own destruction.
