Well the K6 is pretty much ancient history, gotta love tech-time, so what we're talking about it their next attempt to come up with a competitive product. We can't talk about the K6 like it has a future anymore than the Pentium does, it's game-over for those chips. Now, they will still make Pentiums for el-cheapo electronic applications but that's just segment zero stuff.
