true.....

the red card was well deserved.... and frankly i fail to understand WHY on earth italy played the way they did....all they had to do was tie the game.... and had they played intelligently, they could have scored and then -from the strategic point of view.... go into catenaccio and they would have qualified to the next round.... instead, they handed the game to uruguay in a silver platter -particularly after that red card.... stupid

as for the biting rat..... how dumb is luis suarez ? and apparently this is not the first time he has done this thing..... i have NO IDEA what was he thinking..... he risked getting a yellow or indeed a red card for no good reason.....

having said that,,,,,, the media is doing an exaggerated job of something really stupid

-------------------

here is an idea to slow/stop theatrical falls..... notwithstanding a REAL injury..... anyone who plays on these 'falls' and fake injuries..... the player goes OUT of the game for 3 to 5 minutes (referee's discretion) and leaves the team with one man less for the same period....

also.... given the mental condition of most referees and required BLINDNESS.... FIFA should institute a rule in reference to INSTANT REPLAY to review calls that are questioned....
