John, see my previous note, I think it explains some of the move. We should also hear of their stationary power partner soon (likely before the end of the year) and they have a history of linking up with blue-chip companies...

I would think that both Ford and Daimler would have a better handle on whether fuel cells can be cost effective in cars than Sid, but you decide. BTW, GM had a subsidiary do a previous study, which it did not release, but which was released after the subsidiary was sold, also showing that fuel cells can be cost competitive in volume sales. I believe it was done by Allied Signal. The Big Three may need to be dragged into making changes, they sure aren't leading the pack.
