I was pondering your line, "but I still want to see Don out the window at the end." Sometimes I'm a little slow on the uptake (they all nod their heads in agreement.)

I didn't get that hint for a while, but it finally dawned on me what you're getting at, at least I think I do. Are you referring to the opening credits where a silhouette of a man that looks a lot like Don falls from the building? Are all the images we see him passing through just the proverbial "life passing before one's eyes" in his final moments?

That's a dastardly ending! And brilliant! They've been telling us how it will end from the get-go.

Like I said, slow on the uptake.
