Hi Alan, I just read your post. It seems that you are in a position to somehow have to DEFEND with scripture that Jesus the Christ, crucified, died and resurrected is in fact also the Messiah promised in the Old Testatment?
I'm not understanding this properly surely-- that the past discussions have indicated that you must convince someone Jesus was the Messiah? That Jesus was Jewish? That He was promised in the Old Testament? That seems to be what is happening in print, yet the idea is so ludicrous it can't be. But reading your answer to Emile or Robert it kind of looks like that? I'm sorry, but that's what it looks like, and I wonder if we are all losing our minds here. I feel like I am, this is so unreal.
Of course, I must be wrong, but like I said, I'm reading some of these posts and I'm just lost. Am I reading that you are defending that Jesus was the Messiah promised to the Jews. That somehow someone doesn't know or believe this? I'm tired, maybe I just can't think....The possibility this is happening would push my poor weak psyche over the edge, I'm sure. |
