The people of Alaska want that, but not me.

Here is my reason. I think global warming is already past a dangerous tipping point. Yes, it is very complicated, but 97% of the atmospheric scientists are scared shitless.

If we want a livable world for our children and grandchildren, we must do a full press on reducing carbon.

People are sticking their heads in the sand on this one and it means things are about to get real bad weather wise and a worst case scenario would be a sulfuric acid atmosphere.

There is a grand irony here. Scientists by nature are very conservative in their projections as they do not want to appear nuts. So they keep underestimating the danger.

Time after time, things happen way before projections, like the rate of arctic ice melting.

And another problem is no one can calculate the rate or extent of feedback lops.
