Mike; --Week-end Style Topic-- I like your idea to draw people just 'reading through' out for a check-in. Would be enjoyable to get a feel for just how many of us there are. Visitors who come by but haven't joined SI are excluded from posting, unfortunately. On the off topic subject of SI, has anyone ever heard back from the Webmistress? About anything? E-noted her a few evenings back about the site being unreadably slow, (while other sites were OK) was as polite as a nun in church, got no answer at all. Since then, SI has been normal again, then slow, then 'off the air' completely, now slow again tonight. I'm used to the fact that the WWW is subject to all sorts of glitches, but a little explanation goes a long way towards making the situation more agreeable. Her lack of responsiveness aside, I do love hangin' out here!! Lee
