The Edward Jones rep who came by my home in Oregon had a good understanding of DGI. The newsletter he left with me had an article citing the Ned Davis research on dividend growers and initiators compared with companies that are not. Very pleasant fellow who said he recommends some DG stocks to clients who want to own individual companies. My mother has her accounts in Missouri with Edward Jones. I have vetted his advice subsequent to her requests for dividend income. It all seemed appropriate, and he recommended many of the same companies I recommended to her.
