Obamacare, OTOH, killed competition and will eventually lead to government run health care, according to one of its main architects, Zeke Emanuel, a liberal nutjob. And he is correct.

....FYI.......things in NY are progressing pretty much as expected. This Health Care Republic provider sprung up out of the blue as a not for profit provider for the NY market. Of course, it is simply a proxy for Govt health care as it was seeded with several hundred million govt dollars to build up a stash to operate from in the beginning. They advertize that their rates are 57% below ave for profit rates in NY. Of course, people flocked to them to the point that near the enrollment deadline, you could not even get thru to them on the phone. So after year one, I expect my rates to go up (their estimate) at least 19% and I anticipate similar increases in years to come. The government subsidies to this one company alone will be staggering. Even in my case where I limit retirement income to $23K, I only pay $200/month for a PLATINUM plan........think about all the people making a real $20K a year getting platinum plans for well below $200 a month........subsidies for them in a few years probably will average well over $400/month. Yet, we will NEVER know the true cost...........it simply never will be revealed.
