Interesting comments about a buyout offer. Since I've read several speculations about heartsoft being acquired, let me tell pass along the company's public position on this matter.

Our major shareholders have agreed that the we have just layed the foundation for the company this year with the final rollout of all 3 volumes of Thinkology in January. To attempt to sell the foundation of the house which we are building while the foundation is still curing makes no sense. Our greatest days of growth and profitability are ahead (next 24-36 months), and we have mutually agreed as a team that we will not talk merger/acquisition until earning ht $0.50 cents a share. Why sell at $1 or $2 when we can just work for a few more years and see an anticipated acquistion price much higher?

We have had two initial inquiries regarding being acquired and we politely said, call us back when we have completed our first stage goals. 20% school penetration and 50 cents a share in earnings. Both responses were the same - its going to cost alot more then - and I said touche'

We've worked for years to get HTSF to point of where its like a oil well primed and ready - why shut down the pump when the oil is just breaking the surface? (You know how we okies know how to pump those oil wells dry!)

Merry Christmas everyone. 1998 is going to be a lot of fun. Just sit back and hold on for the ride.

Benjamin
