In 2008, nobody wanted a Bush 3rd term. Their conviction was further fueled by McCain's comment that there was no problem with the economy. That singular statement told the American people how out of touch McCain was with the travails of the common person.

Such is not the situation with Hillary for now. Off course we can never be sure how the economy will be in 2016. But assuming it remains the same or becomes better, then the American people would not be asking the same question they did in 2008: Do they want a Obama 3rd term. Let us not lose sight of the fact that Obama battled the US problem on two fronts very successfully: the economy and keeping America safe by fighting terrorism successfully. Except for Ayman Jawahiri, he killed the top brass of AQ.

So I think the situation in 2016 will be exact opposite to what it was in 2008 where many would want a Obama 3rd term in Hillary.
