Greg - Re: "Are these enought reason for Intel not to worry about AMD? "

Intel isn't leaving anything to chance.

When Intel started cutting prices in June, did they (Intel) know that AMD was going to have severe yield problems?

Intel is doing what any smart company does in the face of new competition - meet it head on and do whatever it takes to keep the new competitor from gaining a significant foothold in the market.

By dropping prices, Intel cripples any anticipated profit for AMD, and this prevents AMD from being able to finance a major "war" against Intel.

You should view this AMD/Intel competition as a war and the pricing strategies as a major weapon.

Intel didn't get to where it is today by being a quiet prodder.
