WASHINGTON: ObamaCare whistleblower claims retaliation
....................................................................
Fox News ^ | 6/27/2014 | Dan Springer

"If a judge is told by a party to decide his cases in a certain way, or one party can threaten the judge’s job if the case is not decided in that party’s favor, then this central pillar of our democratic society is corroded,” Petersen said at a recent hearing called by the Senate Law and Justice Committee.

A political storm has erupted in Washington state involving a whistleblower who claims she was retaliated against after raising concerns about ObamaCare's implementation. Patricia Petersen, a hearings officer in the state's Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC), filed a whistleblower complaint alleging coercion and corruption in the OIC, which is tasked with implementing the Affordable Care Act. She said Chief Deputy James Odiorne threatened her job if she didn’t rule the way Commissioner Mike Kreidler -- a supporter of the law -- wanted.

If true, James Odiorne needs to go to prison.

Democrats are, of course, lying about this because the only way they can sell Obamacare is to lie about it. But state administrative law judges are supposed to be independent and make decisions based on the law.

Ask Chief Justice John Roberts for details of how that thuggish democrat party ploy affected his ruling on the ACA.
Or ask all those judges who have denied hearing any obozo eligibility challenges in the face of proven forged birth docs. This is the norm under this lawless regime who is following Saul Alinsky’s play book and operating just like Chicago's organized crime syndicate. Obozo said himself; they bring a knife and we bring a gun.

"If true, James Odiorne needs to go to prison." He won't be...unless the People themselves make it so...

I'm afraid our government is completely corrupt...!

This is just a natural consequence of what happens when people make careers out of government employment; when you serve Caesar, you serve him when he is an incompetent semi-literate thug as much as when he is a normal American.

Obviously there is a lot of dirt on Roberts. What pisses me off is Bush HAD to know about it when he appointed him.

If we can’t find people to run for election and hold judgeships who are honest with no skeletons in their closets, we’re in big trouble.

We all know that our Constitution was meant to work under honorable men/women elected to serve in all three branches of government. The mess this country is in is a direct result due to the fact that a majority of those who have served and are now serving in DC have no honor. If they were exposed, most would be classified as out right criminals. Clearly, Obama constantly plays the threat of exposure to get his way.

Really? so the Senate does not have to pass any budget the House sends to them?
What does the Senate Budget committee do? which party controls the Senate?
No the House alone can not enforce a budget

ALL Appropriation bills MUST originate in the House - the Senate has no part of this until the House passes the Appropriation bill (or a CR) to the Senate. IF Reid and Obama want to ignore those Appropriation bills that DO NOT INCLUDE FUNDING FOR THE RAT PET PROJECTS (for whatever line item - e.g, Obamacare, EPA, etc) then it is THE RAT SENATE AND THE RAT HOUSE THAT SHUTS DOWN THE GOVERNMENT.

Why is this so difficult for the GOP to get the message out to the ignoramuses that now populate the landscape? All these spineless weasels know how to do well is cower under their desks scared to death of the media and their black master in the White Hut.

You do understand that the Budget is only a guidance/policy document - it does NOT authorize the spending of one single penny by the White Hut and it's bloated bureaucracy - don't you?

Boehner Is Bringing a Whistle to a Gunfight
A congressional lawsuit is precisely the wrong weapon to combat Obama’s lawlessness.
By Andrew C. McCarthy

"There is no legal impediment stopping Congress from taking these measures; there is a political impediment stopping Boehner. The speaker either does not have the votes necessary to get Congress to act; or he may have them — at least enough of them to pass House bills to defund or impeach, putting Senate Democrats in the unenviable position of defending administration lawlessness — but he is scared to death of being demagogued by the president’s media adjutants. That may be a good reason to find a more effective Speaker. It is not a good reason to undo the Constitution’s standing requirements.

why YES I do understand that but that is NOT what you were arguing in your first post
I wondered if you understood the GOP controlled House can’t pass a budget on its own.

state administrative law judges are supposed to be independent Ha! That sounds nice, but I assure it's not the case in Barry's adopted home state of Illinois. As a small business owner, I was ruled against by an administrative law judge (ALJ) when I was clearly in the right, with both facts and the law on my side. In an appeal before the same ALJ, I was clearly and nonsensically ruled against again, despite being at odds with the law and legal precedent.

The State AG could have recognized the ALJ's "being out there on a limb," and against legal precedents, but no, the AG took up the case, knowing--ok, "I believe knowing"--it should not succeed. Arguably, I imagine that was done on the hopes that their intimidation of me, the business owner, with huge penalties, would sway me to settle.

Only in going to court (de novo), did the circuit judge ultimately, almost three years later, award me summary judgment against the AG's office. I apparently was not eligible to get attorney's fees from the plaintiff.

I believe the purpose of the ALJ and State AG's actions were anti-business and sought to do a favor for and side with "workers," wearing me down with expenses to fight on, despite the plaintiff's statements as to my having acted against the law and how I could be personally and individually--piercing the corporate veil--made to pay $1000/day for each employee allegedly harmed--representing many millions of dollars.

I warn everyone to be careful in the democrat-owned state of Illinois. I could not shop for my judge, and feel fortunate I got one that was not to be entirely intimidated by the state's functionaries against me, except perhaps that he was willing to let the case drag on two years in his court.
