I'm not a big believer that new term limits will do much good... (but I do believe that a Constitutional Convention is the ONLY way to ever get our Constitution changed. The very fear of a convention would likely force our gutless Congress to 'man-up' and pass a suggested amendment on to the States for ratification).

But I don't think term limits would have any noticeable effect... politicians would just sell out faster.

Most likely sell out even *before* being elected, (and count on back-scratching, 'pay-back' jobs from the vested interests they sold out to and defended the interests of when their terms end).

And the unelected governmental bureaucracy would gain even more power....
