Diger, I posted this on the DML thread but it looks good here too! Hi Jim, while the speculative investment world has been caught up with the South Voisey Bay nickel hunt, there has been a company on the Alberta Stock Exchange quietly drilling up huge reserves on its nickel cobalt property in Indonesia. Weda Bay has been listed for just over one year and they are on target for over 50 million tons of 1.6% nickel by the end of December. And this is just the beginning. This is a shallow nickel deposit, close to the surface and easy to mine. El Nino has actually been a boon to this company as they have been able to keep drilling due to the failure of the monsoons to materialize. What really impresses me about this company is the management. The president, Louis Clinton, headed Freeport Indonesia prior to starting Weda Bay. The company also hasover $5 million in the bank and is partnered with Indonesia's largest mining company(P.T Aneka Tambang). In my opinion companies such as Weda have been overlooked due to the BRE-X effect, and the recent VBG speculative frenzy. Weda's website is at wedabay.com Check this puppy out for yourself.
