Most likely sell out even *before* being elected, (and count on back-scratching, 'pay-back' jobs from the vested interests they sold out to and defended the interests of when their terms end).

As is the current practice

The primary reason for term limits would be to derail the current seniority system which finds that if you can stay there long enough, you amass great power to legislate for pay

Thus becoming a very effective and high priced legislative whore who can be counted on to deliver whatever one wishes to purchase in the Congress..here's looking at you Boehner
