I never said that. I said "11 and 14 means blue house has a horse, and must be Ukranian (since Spaniard has a dog)". Work through the problem in the order I said and it should be very easy.

I eat logic puzzles for breakfast. Maybe that's why I'm a programmer. Foreign language, now that's a different story.
If you want a really good challenge, go back to the steel ball problem. When I was done I searched the net for the "answer". All I found was a couple of sites that said "if you solve this problem we really want to talk to you" and "there's no trick here, you just have to work through it". BTW, I sent my answer to both sites. The first guy works at "Edward Isaacs & Co" in NYC. He faxed me back "Why don't you tell me something about yourself" to which I have not yet responded (I hope its not a marketing trick; I'll let you know). Regardless, I would be interested if Tech would post the "book" answer.
