Tenchusatsu, I'm not nor have I ever tried to DEFEND Saddam Hussein.

I'm just talking about what would be best for the U.S.

There are dictators all over the world and there probably always will be.

There are children dying from disease and starvation and ignorance all over the world and there probably always will be.

The U.S. has always been a BASTION of freedom, science, and respect for the rights of the common man.

If we don't try to maintain the STRENGTH of the United States by sometimes looking at things pragmatically rather than always altruistically then we will burn out and the world will be a much poorer place because of it.
